At THRIVE in Southern New Mexico, we believe lasting change happens through collaboration. We partner with trusted nonprofit organizations across Otero and Lincoln Counties, serving as a bridge between our community and the organizations making a difference every day. Through workplace giving, fundraising, donor engagement, volunteer initiatives, and advocacy, THRIVE helps provide the resources our partner agencies need to continue serving individuals and families throughout our region. Each agency has a unique mission, but they share a common goal: strengthening Southern New Mexico. Together, we invest in programs and services that create lasting impact and help our community thrive.
Selection process
we’re committed to ensuring that every dollar entrusted to us is invested responsibly and strategically. To become a THRIVE partner agency and receive funding, nonprofit organizations participate in a thorough review and allocation process designed to evaluate their impact, financial stewardship, and community need.
Apply
Eligible nonprofit organizations submit a comprehensive funding application detailing their mission, programs, financial information, governance, and the impact they make within Otero and Lincoln Counties.
Interview
Each applicant participates in an in-person interview with THRIVE’s volunteer Funds Allocation Committee. During this process, organizations discuss their programs, answer questions, and demonstrate how funding will directly benefit the community they serve.
Allocate
After all interviews are completed, the Funds Allocation Committee carefully evaluates each application using established criteria and Distributes funding to qualifying partner agencies based on demonstrated need, organizational effectiveness, and community impact.

This annual vetting process helps ensure that THRIVE supports nonprofit organizations that demonstrate strong leadership, sound financial practices, measurable outcomes, and a meaningful commitment to serving Southern New Mexico. Through this careful evaluation, donors and community partners can give with confidence, knowing their contributions are invested where they can make the greatest impact.
